Have you wondered where your spiritual reconciliation journey should begin.
The path to reconciliation has a starting point, a point where we realize we can no longer deny the burden we carry, the guilt and the shame or the discomfort we feel each time we try to come into the presence of the Lord Almighty. Reconciliation is inspired by the still whispers of the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 54 vs11says “O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires.
When Adam and Eve broke the rules they were burdened with guilt and fear, they were tossed like the wind by temptation inspired by Satan, they fell into sin and they seek to pacify the burden of the guilt. They decided to cover their nakedness with leaves. Everyone that has missed the pathway of fellowship with the Lord feels this burden, it is like a yoke you can't wait to break away from your neck, but sometimes our free will and love for the flesh keeps us back from reaching for reconciliation. Some constantly seek man-made alternatives to make the hard felt guilt disappear, but this alternative only last for a short period.
The desire of the Lord for us is to be reinstated with him in fellowship. Additionally, that bible verse says Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires. This verse is powerful because He knew you would take that wrong turn, but He doesn't want you to remain in that sinful state, He wants you to start again and this time with a new foundation designed with his promises. Sapphires are considered the gems of all gems, they come in different colors and they are magnificent to behold. A foundation colored with such stones would definitely be a beauty to behold and strong to withstand any storms. Also the verse mentions foundations, and I believe our foundations could be spiritual, emotional, financial and relational. In the sinful state where we fulfilled all the desires of the flesh, we lost our Godly fellowship, our title as heirs of the kingdom, we lost peace of mind, we lost financial blessings. But his promises are full of restoration. He wants to lay our foundations anew with stones of love, joy, peace, wealth, happiness, spiritual awakening ,righteousness and grace to forgive those who might have hurt us.
Whatsoever made us forsake the presence of the Lord, should not have the best of our relationship with the Lord Almighty; be it unforgiveness, bitterness, rebellion, pride, hate or unholy living, you can still reconcile with the Lord. His arms are wide open, even in our sinful state He still loves us and his desires for us is to remain in love with him always. I would share more on speaking the love language of God in subsequent post.
A journey to a path of reconciliation was inspired by the holy spirit and the gift of reconciliation is free for all!
